When it comes to outreach as servers we can sometimes lose track of the reason we are doing what we do. If you are doing give-away projects like distributing bottles of water, we can become so caught up in the flurry of the project that we lose sight of our strategy for success. At no point are we merely giving away bottles of water. We are approaching hurting people in a caring way with water to quench their thirst. As we persevere in seeing people as those needing the presence of God - and keep in mind it is his presence that we give away much more than bottles of water - then we stay prayerful. We must keep this notion of "presence distributors" clearly before us.
